Most recently, Nevan was Senior Vice President, Head of the Pulmonary Business Unit for the NASDAQ listed biotechnology company, Nektar Therapeutics, where he was responsible for all of the pulmonary business and successfully sold his unit to Novartis in the first quarter of 2009. Prior to his tenure with Nektar, he was the Chief Financial Officer and one of the founding executives of E2open, Inc., a technology corporation with operations in six countries.
Earlier in his career, Nevan was a corporate partner in the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented emerging growth companies in the life sciences.
Nevan currently holds board positions with Aerogen, AeroSurgical and Savara Pharmaceuticals in Austin, Texas and he holds degrees from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Howard University in Washington D.C.
